Peter E. Joseph, Jr. has served as the Town Manager of the Town of Lincoln since May of 2008. He is the third Town Manager of Lincoln. Prior to working in Lincoln, he worked as an assistant in the Town Manager's office in Andover, MA and the Town Administrator's Office in Peterborough, NH. He was born in Beverly, MA, and has previously lived in Woburn, MA, Sandown, NH, and Peterborough, NH. He currently resides in Lincoln.
Peter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Merrimack College and an Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of New Hampshire. He is an active member in good standing of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and the New Hampshire Municipal Management Association (NHMMA). In 2008 he received the NH Union Leader's “40 Under Forty” award, presented to leaders under forty who are contributing to the betterment of the State of New Hampshire.
Outside of his work responsibilities, Peter enjoys being involved in the community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Lincoln-Woodstock Chamber of Commerce, the North Country Council, the Lincoln-Woodstock Food Pantry, and the Linwood Ambulance Service. He is a member of the Lincoln Woodstock Rotary Club. On the weekends, Petercan often be found spending time in the outdoors hiking, camping, and biking in the summertime and skiing and hiking in the winter.
