Be advised that FEMA has opened Disaster Recovery Centers in both Grafton and Carroll County for those who suffered damage or losses from the severe storms and flooding from August 26, 2011 through September 6, 2011. This assistance is available for homeowners, renters, and business owners in both Grafton and Carroll County. All participants must register with FEMA before visiting a Disaster Recovery Center.

Participants can register by phone by calling: 1-800-621-3362

or online at: www.disasterassistance.gov.

Those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

FOOD PANTRY NEWSLETTER

The Lincoln-Woodstock Food Pantry is located at the Father Roger Bilodeau Community Center, 194 Pollard Road in Lincoln. The Food Pantry supplies food and necessary household items to families in need in the Lincoln-Woodstock community. The Food survives by the generosity of our community members, with food support from USDA Commodities Foods, and the County Farm stand.

The Lincoln-Woodstock Food Pantry’s November & December donations came from: Price Chopper, FCI employees who donated, Truant’s Tavern Pool Tournament, St. Joseph’s Church, M.T Quail, Robert Ellis & Hathy Margerison, Richard Spadoni, Doris & Robert Mollica Jr., Christina Guilbert, Pemi Valley Church, Lin-Wood Boy scouts, Rodgers, Charles Cook, Louise & Jeffrey VanBrink, Gisele Laliberte who donated her family Christmas raffle winnings, Debbi Ward and the Lakes Region Board of Realtors, and many other community members that have donated food and money to support this community-wide program. We would like to thank all of your for your support!

Any legal voter in the Town of Lincoln who wishes to file a declaration of candidacy for available town offices may do so between January 25, 2012 and February 3, 2012 at the office of the Town Clerk, 148 Main Street, Lincoln, during regular business hours (8am-4pm, M-F).
