Public Notice: Planning Board Hearing

PUBLIC NOTICE

On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, commencing at 6:00 pm the Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on the following request:

Renee Clermont Blood (& Jason Blood) d/b/a Mountainside Event Services, LLC, of PO Box 172, North Woodstock, NH 03262, Request for Waiver of Site Plan Review approval for what may or may not be considered to be a change of use per Article IV, Section A, Paragraph 2 of the Site Plan Review Regulations to change the use of currently vacant former retail/customer service/event space in the Village Shops to conference and event space, to include serving catered meals.

Blood proposes a joint venture with RiverWalk at Loon Mountain, LLC (where Blood is the General Manager) [Office:  22 South Mountain Drive, Mail:  33 Brookline Road, PO Box 636, Lincoln, NH 03251-0636] and The Atrium at Seven Birches Winery owned by Mark LaClair d/b/a The Vineyard at Seven Birches, LLC, 25 Clay Brook Drive, Plymouth, NH 03264 to convert long-vacant space formerly used variously as retail/customer service and possibly event space into conference and event space where catered food may also be served as part of a conference or event at 25 South Mountain Drive #16 (Map 118, Lot 046) owned by Village Shops ICH, LLC of PO Box 127, Lincoln, NH 03251 (Marcia and John Imbrescia) adjacent to the Atrium at Seven Birches Winery.  The property is located in the Village Center (VC) District.

At a Conceptual Hearing on August 28, 2019, the Planning Board asked Blood to submit a Request for a Waiver from the Site Plan Review Regulations at their September 11, 2019 Planning Board meeting, that addresses questions about adequate parking with notice to abutters to be provided.  A public hearing on the Request for Waiver will follow immediately and a vote whether to grant or not to grant the Request for a Waiver will follow.
